In what appears to be an unprecedented move in today's colligiate scheduling, Ga Tech has contracted with a Div 1aa team for a gm 7 yrs from now:wow: . Radakovich acts like he's in a mad rush to make sure Tech has a Div1aa school lined up for a home date each season before all the 1aa teams are taken:laugher: . Nearly all of the major conference teams try to find more attractive games such as Div1a Troy coming in or a 2 home gms for 1 away with MidTennSt. The major teams will then fill in any remaining schedule holes a yr or 2 or 3 in advance with a Div1aa, which are extremely easy to get;) .
When u commit to 1aa teams too far in advance it cuts down on how u can schedule the major H & A gms with the teams u really want to pay to see:rolleyes: . Tech needs a home gm for '11 & '12, with Ga Southern almost assuredly being the team for 1 of those yrs, if not both. IMO, Radakovich might ought to be getting a home gm with Auburn for '11 or '12 & playing @ Aub in '13.
Oh well, here's the announcement from Elon, which seems pretty happy about the game on Aug 31, 2013 & about finally jumping into the higher guarantee $ gms vs Div1a.
