GT starts spring practice today

In the rain?

Those were my favorite practices. Wait for the rain to puddle up and run fumble drills or monkey rolls. Man, I loved those days.

mine too. especially during 2 a day summer practices. Only time it wasn't like 100+ degrees. No better feeling than hitting someone full tilt and seeing them slide 5 or 6 yards across the field.

Looking at the depth chart, some of the weights look interesting. 1st and 2nd team OL - Rhodes at 280, Tuminello at 292 are lightest, rest are virtually 300 or more. Also, for the first time, David Brown has put on weight, he has been listed 255-260 his first 3 years, but now shows at 275; maybe he has finally found his position and is motivated. Hope so as he and family are really nice people. DL still seems light - only Richardson at 285 is out of 270 range. Ben is listed at 270, so is fr DE Morgan, from PA.
Others - only Barrick, TE who came in at 240 and now is listed at 265, seem significantly different.

Kind of like the Super Bowl champ Indy Colts DL....light and fast.

Well, to be fair, the Colts D wasn't all that stellar this year.

Again, take all these weights with a LARGE grain of salt. Anderson's dad has recently reported that Ben is now at 280 lbs.
