Join the Cobb/Marietta GT alumni club this Saturday to watch the game at Varner's Tavern in Smyrna (725 Concord Rd SE, Smyrna, GA ).

I'll try to show up a little early to grab some tables in the main dining area. Hopefully we can get 20+ people like the last few get togethers!
 
Do people go to these in Atlanta much? I was thinking of going to the one in Brookhaven at Hudson Grill I saw listed on the site, but I don't want to go if I'm going to be sitting alone in a restaurant. I'd rather just stay home and make sure I have audio, too.

Anyone been? Or if there's a bigger one somewhere in the city, I'd be up for that, too.
 
Well, I can tell you that we generally have a good crowd at ours (for away games only). I suspect that the list of game watch parties that the alumni association emails out is out of date and more than likely your best bet would be email the alumni association on which in town clubs are most active or just attend a group that you see advertised... smyrna isn't too far....come join us!

I have the same question. Anyone else been to Hudson grill?
 
We will not make it this week. My son has his conference soccer tournament in Pensacola. His final one. Varner's was awesome the last time. If you are in Cobb you should come out.
 
large big screen tv's. We have one end on the non smoking section with usually all the TV's on the Tech game. Yes you can hear.
 
Varner's sounds good. I'll plan on coming by there unless someone knows of one ITP that a good group of people go to.
 
We've got a group of at least four of us going to the Hudson Grill in Brookhaven (4046 Peachtree Road) if anyone wants to stop by.

Varner's People, Lets not forget that the Mutt game is at 12:30, is anyone gonna get there early to reserve that table and tv, most importantly, sound???
