This will be finished uploading by 7:00PM Monday night.

Good clean execution! We needed this since the Alrcon Game was poor execution. I think future games offense depend mostly on TQM reading correctly, forcing the pitch, and when he can't pitch he should not/never/ever turn back inside (upfield and slightly outside and make the yards you can). TQM had an excellent long mesh ride that forced the DE to commit and resulted in a TD! I like TO but he is not 100% ready yet. I would use him if GT does not score for 3 series to shake things up.

I wonder how much of the improvement was CPJ coming down from the scissor lift and rolling up his sleeves. He said he was going to get more involved. I can guess that if he got all up in TQM's grill this week, that would help explain the improvement.

I have often suspected that there is a pretty steep drop-off from CPJ's instruction to our assistant coach's instruction.

@Longestdays - may want to edit the thread title from BC to BG. Threw me for a sec.

I liked how mad Jahaziel was after botching the snap. We need all our guys to play with that much passion.

Juanyeh is always dialed in

I don't think we'll know whether we've improved til Friday night.

In the post game presser, CPJ said he didn't think TQ missed a read on the option.

It might be that candeto just isnt a polished enough coach yet. I think tm said that cpj was really riding him last week about qb pitch relationship and getting all of those details right.

It was definitely night and day in terms of the timing of pitches and the reads. The game is going to speed up the rest of the way so I think it's an open question as to whether we can keep it going. Hope so.

It's about being able to slow things down in your mind and react to the unexpected, neither of which BG forced us to do. Unfortunately, if you can be disruptive, our guys have shown a real knack for shitting their pants.

I agree in that playing better competition, every drive should not end in a TD. But, if you cannot play a good game and execute well against BG or Alcron, you will not do well against better teams. GT did not execute well against Alcorn.

The big take away from this game is TQM did not have the highest rushing stats, TQM played the system, TQM completed passes, the ball stayed in our hands, the rest of the team hit the right people, and the team minimized penalties. Play like that against better competition and the O should score (maybe not in the 60S).

Just go get that win this week.
