GT v UVA 2018 O Review

Bronco's teams always defend the option well. TQM seems to have gotten better at pitching instead of tucking and running but as you pointed out there were two plays where he could have pitched and we would have had big yardage.
 
The concern I have for COFH is how is GT going to freeze the safeties to slow them from attacking the edges. I think we can hang with the dwags in the trenches and our WR's and A backs will win some of their battles on the corners and LB's, but how are we going to keep the safeties from flying up in run support. UVA's safeties made it difficult. I believe TM or TO will have to have some success passing. We don't have to throw the 30-40yd bombs. We can throw the more high percentage throws but we haven't done that very well this year. To compound the issue, the weather is not going to be conducive for us to toss it around. The one play I have seen this year that I believe can have some success is the fake toss naked bootleg. We block it pretty good, it gets TM out of the pocket so he can see the field and either find an open receiver or keep it himself. Defensively, not sure we will have an answer.
