...there are four very good football teams in the Big 12, and they have to play somewhere.
 
Im afraid the Gator will pick Clemson then the Peach picks Fsu and then we end up at the champs.
 
We have nothing left to prove to the SEC this year (2-0 against them)....bring on the Big XII!
 
the chick bowl is looking like crap now. we'd face a 5 loss SEC team.
 
Um, i'm not the least bit excited about playing a team like OU. I'd be much happier with LSU or someone we can thrash.
 
Oklahoma would have to lose and the Sun would have to take Notre Dame or a Big East team for it to happen.

I would absolutely jump at a chance to play OU over any second-rate SEC team. It's risky, there's no question they could absolutely dominate us. But that would only be what they're supposed to do. It's all upside for us.

BTW, the OU-OSU game is 1999 GT-UGA level crazy, fumble controversy and all. Turn it on if you're not watching.
 
I would be very apprehensive playing a top 4 big 12 team with our d-backs unless Jahi is back 100 percent
 
Looks like Oklahoma and Okie State are having another GT/UGAg game in Stillwater. Its back and forth right now. Score is 44-41 Oklahoma after OK State just ran the kick back after Oklahoma extended their lead. It's a good one and I'd love to face this Oklahoma defense in a bowl. I think we can take 'em.
 
I absolutely have no desire to play a midlevel SEC program. That does nothing for us. Yes we will pack the Peach Bowl but it would be nice for all or us and out team to travel and play somebody different. We want to compete on the national stage. Playing midlevel SEC teams is not getting that done.

Lets look the CFL/Peach Bowl is ACC#2 vs SEC #5. Supposedly you could get SEC #3 or 4 but that never happens. #3 goes to Cotton where they play Big 12 #2 and #4 goes to Outback where they play Big Ten #3. Why does the ACC accept that?? It is the only bowl we tie into that does not have equal match. The ACC#2 deserves a better fate. At least in the Gator you can play the #3 Big 12 or Big East #2. It is time now to restore the Gator to our #2 Bowl status since we are not doing something incredibly stupid like playing our championship game there and negotiate with the Peach to step up their opponent to minimally SEC#3.

Wouldn't matter this year anyway. Good chance whoever wins the ACC gets Cincinnati in the Orange Bowl. No thanks.
