A fan posted recently that he/she was discouraged over GT's performance to date.

These figures may offer a little relief for you, especially when one takes into consideration of our situation of having a new coach who has installed an offense that proved tricky for some of our players to adapt to.

GT todate before tonight's game, 5th in points scored for, with 218. Fla St. leads the ACC but remember Fl St. played some lesser teams too. 5th aint too shabby considering our team's injuries, new off., etc.

GT leads in defense with allowing the least amount of points scored against us at 154.

GT has scored one point more than BC and allowed 15 less than BC, but BC is rated this week and we aren't, according to "The Kickoff" newsletter. You can go figure this on your own time.

Kinda makes one feel a little better now, don't you think?

Our offense has blown me away when you consider the learning curve should be longer than 8 months (4 for the true FR) and all of the square pegs in round holes on the OLine.

The defense has kept the ship steady enough for the offense to work through the adjustments and injuries.

As much as I would like to win the last 2, this season will still be a success if we don't.

I think it was interesting to read the Navy and GSU posters' views on the offense. All of them were shocked with how much progress our boys have made.

I gotta tell you, big props to all the guys on the field. They bought into a very uncertain future under Paul Johnson, and went with it with their full heart, and have done a wonderful job.

If they do well over the next 2 games, they can make this season from being a great one, to a truly legendary one...

I expected for PJ to win quick here, he turned GSU around from a nobody to a team going to the NC game in what... two years?
