In the first ACC installment of CPJ vs. Cutcliffe things started slowly, as backup quarterback Jaybo Shaw struggled to lead the Jackets to a 3-0 lead at halftime. That field goal is all we would need but Jaybo figured things out anyway throwing for an impressive 230 yards--- all to Demaryius Thomas.

I think this is the highest rank we have had for a CPJ coached game and probably one of the highest ones since 1990 at 7th. Completely dominated but not after once again starting slowly vs. the Blue Devils, going down 10/0 but winning 49/10.

2010

Duke really controlled this game until Mario Butler's 85 yard pick six. Duke was driving to go up two possessions and GT was able to take the reigns after the interception. This was almost an L.

2011

This one was somewhat uneventful as far as drama, even though Duke stayed within a score or two the entire game. Always felt in control of this one and Tevin played very well.

2012

BENO!!!! In one of the most interesting game saving plays in CPJ's tenure, Ray Beno takes an important tipped pass for a third down conversion. Duke would of had a shot to win if not for it.

This was actually one of Duke's best football team in the past 60+ seasons, and we were one of just two of their regular season losses beating them 38-14. They would lose to Pitt 58-55 the next weekend and then reel off 8 straight wins before getting whopped 45-7 by #1 FSU in the ACCCG. Johnny Manziel had to come back to beat them in the Chik-fil-a bowl 52-48. Still surprised they struggled so bad vs. us in this season.

2014

Cutcliffe seemed to find his groove in defending the option for this season and the next and this was one of just three blemishes on a great season for us.

2015

That Cash kid just completely wrecked us. We got within 6 late but the defense was playing to soft in this one.

2016

Duke made a huge comeback on us but Just Thomas had his biggest day on the flats to bring us back. Almost lost to Duke three seasons in a row but were able to finally break the two season streak.

They're Duke. Anyone not named Wake Forest is their UGa
Yes, they're 57-38-2 against Wake... but now for the r-r-r-rest of the story — among teams they play frequently, Duke also has a winning record over NC State (41-36-5) and South Carolina (24-17-3), and is almost even against UVA (33-35) and Tennessee (13-14-2). They do have bad losing records to UNC, Clemson, GT, Maryland, etc.

Geez. That 2015 game. Jeremy Cash had an insane game. That guy suffocated us.
