GT vs Nebraska

Nebraska is coming off back-to-back 3 win seasons as well, with losing seasons each of last 5 years. Which program makes it to 6-6 first, us or the cornhuskers?

They're in the middle of nowhere and there's really nothing else for entertainment. Tech coaches have to realize that in the ATL there are a ton of options. Must win to attract a crowd.

Their 3-9 is wildly different than our 3-9 as sad as that is. If we beat them to 6 wins, it’s a function of our weaker competition more than a strength of program indicator.

I dunno if they are returning a bunch or not, but if so they were damn sure competitive with everyone on their schedule this year and may get over the hump next year

Hiring Collins was part of that realization. The whole "shut up and coach" attitude of CPJ and other old school coaches isn't really going to cut it for us anymore, so we got a guy who went on Inside the NBA, instituted a "drip walk", and did a ton of other stuff to connect GT to the city of Atlanta and get us into its general diaspora.

Too bad he couldn't also bring along even a mediocre cream.

Their sellout streak is now at 382 straight games - every game since 1962.

Atlanta will never support a loser.

Are we really to the point of saying their 3-9 is better than our 3-9? FFS

Cornhuskers reach 6 before we do in a tougher conference.
I have faith that despite their record Frost will get it going & that he is a good head football coach.

There ain't nothing else to do in that flat, cold state. Deer hunting is good. Other than that, Husker football is all they have. Huskers will reach 6 long before we do. Head clown in chief still carrying the clipboard here.

Nebraska. W/L's aside, Nebraska was in every single game and almost all were single digit losses. Heck, if Tech played all their games with single digit losses I'd be singing his praises. I thought after Clemson we were heading that way, but we headed the other way. I think Frost will get to 6-7 wins next year.

This a serious question? Have you seen the stands for their home games? Tickets have been selling (maybe? "listed" may be a better word) for $30 on stubhub.
Are you really asking? The original comment was put in context as a whole, not right now. We all know the Falcons have been bottom feeders for most of their existence.
