GT/VT Game Watching - Cobb

The Cobb/Marrietta Georgia Tech club will be gathering to watch the GT/VT game this saturday at Varners Tavern located in Smyrna. All alumni and fans are welcome to join us. We are a rather small but growing club so we'd like all the support we can get to continue to have these sort of functions.

I think the official count was 7-10... a bit disappointing but i'm not discouraged considering it was the first time we've done it. I'm already pretty sure we'll have more than that for this game.

Good stuff... Love that bar to begin with, and it's nice to see that GT fans are going to be establishing a presence there.

Awesome! I should have a few more this time myself... Hopefully if we can start attracting enough people we could ask for them to post about it on their sign out front.

Sounds great. I am bringing 6.5 people. We will probably sit with you guys at the big table :rockon:
 
There is a very good chance that I will come with two others. It is a great place to watch a game
 
Sounds like we'll have a great crowd... i'll try to swing by early to get a bunch of tables in the middle.

Just talked Varners on the phone about getting them to add a note about us on the marquee tomorrow and h e said it shouldn't be a problem. I'm gonna stop by after work today to talk to the manager about it.

Any suggestions to put on the marquee? maybe "Come watch the GT game with Alumni and fans THWG!" maybe i'll leave that last part off....
 
If you can't make it there, come on out to Bradley's. Glad to see we are spreading the GT love around Cobb.
 
The buttlickers game is at 3:30 so we may be in some competition. Lets get alot of people there and we may have to go early!!!
