I don't post much but here are some things I noticed. Some obvious of course.....
1- We have a winner at the helm. A guy that has brought physical and mental toughness to a team that lacked it and he has done this in a few months.
2- We have a dang warrior at QB. I would take him into a fight with me anytime.
3-In two years, we are looking at a top 10-15 team in the country.
4- The helmet-to helmet call was atrocious -we all know that but something else that CPJ was furious about that went unnoticed. When we had to burn a TO before the 4th down play there was a reason for this........Roddy had just missed the deep ball and had to return to the huddle from 50-60 yards away. With the new clock rules, the 40 second clock started as soon as that play was over. That was why we were late breaking the huddle. I understand the new clock but here has to be something done for a situation like that. Yes, I know we could have substituted for Roddy but we needed our best players on the field for that 4th down.
5- Our A gap protection has got to get better. We were constantly beat in the A gaps yesterday. I figured we would see smaller splits in the second half but we didn't.
People better get us now if they are going to beat us!!!!!!!!

Our weaknesses continue to be:

1. O-line. I've never seen more D-linemen in our backfield than yesterday. And never have I seen more DLmen all over our QB before he gets rid of the ball or before taking his second step. Jeez!!

2. QB. I know improved line play will help Josh a bunch but come quickly to North Ave young Mr. Luallen. A QB spot awaits you. Your Dad's already moved here. Finish HS already and move in with him.

3. LB - need more run support from you guys. Cooper Taylor is working too hard helping you guys out.

I don't agree with 2. QB, I think Nesbitt is our started until he graduates. He is learning the offense and he was definitely better than the BC game. He went over 100 yards.

I'm excited about Luallen getting here. But I'll bet now that he RSs one year before getting into the mix. Nesbitt will be great in this system once we get the timing right and if/when our OL buys him some time to operate.

I was at the game yesterday and on the way back was listing to the VT post game show in the car and Beamer said there game plan was to shut down Dwyer. He said they where not going to let number 21 beat them. This is a big problem IMO. our O Line up the middle is awful and every team we play is going to take the same approach. That being said I think Cox had a great game and Jones also did some nice things. The triple option seemed to be running allot smoother the second half which was good to see. Nesbitt is a hell of an athlete and has improved every game this year. He is a star in the making no doubt.

I'm watching the replay right now, and our guards are atrocious. Don't see how anyone can call Nesbitt a weakness.

Glad to see you posting again. Welcome back, oldtimer!

Nesbitt IS magic in the rough. We ARE getting better. We STILL have a ways to go but we DO have the coach we need. Georgia TECH is going to bee one BITCH of a game for ANYBODY on our schedule for years to come.

Tough loss when we could've won.

LET'S GO JACKETS! LET'S GO TECH!!!

This is a dumb, dumb post. Nesbitt was the best player on the field yesterday.
