I would look at average stars b/c it appears that there are more stars floating around this year.
 
Very glad to see this lawbee. I have wondered how so many post have labored on the myth that we have not recruited well in 1999, 2000, and 2001. Noted is the fact that on this board Georgia is rated #16 in what was Donnan's last year. Incredible how TWO coaching changes in the same state can affect the outlook of the respective progams on and off the field.
 
Anybody have a the final rankings of our recruiting classes for the past 5-10 years? Just curious what they were. Also, we didn't finish in the Top 10 that year but I'm not sure where we feel to.

2001 - Rivals #24, CBSsportsline.com #19 (F$U #1, UGA #9, Clemson #30 in Rivals - Clemson #10 in Lemmings and SuperPreps)

2000 - Prepstars #25

1999 - PrepStars #24 (SuperPreps #4 in ACC - UGA #5, F$U #12, UNC #14, UVA #19, GT #24)

1998 - Not in SuperPreps Top 30 (5th in ACC per SuperPreps - F$U #4, UGA #5, UNC #12 Clemson #26)

1997 - Not ranked in Top 30

1996 - SuperPreps #11, Lindy's #11 (UGA #17), Athlon's #12 (UGA #30)(NOTE - This was the Q.C. class, and he would have been a big contributor to the high ranking, when we all know he did not matriculate at GT. Also this is GT's highest ranked class ever)

1995 - Not ranked in Top 30 (F$U #4, UGA #14, UNC #20)

1994 - Not ranked in Top 30

1993 - SuperPreps #13

1992 - Not ranked in Top 30

1991 - Not ranked in Top 30

1990 - Not ranked in Top 30

1989 - Not ranked in Top 30

Thanks for the info. Interesting stuff to look at overall. Funny that we never had great recruiting classes after great seasons. Would have thought that we would have had more of a bounce in quality.
