The funny thing is, if that bs cut block beyond 5yds of the LOS call hadn't been made, the VPISU player wouldn't have been ejected because we would have already gotten a first down and prob not run the play the exact same way. öööö em.

It was like pulling over someone for going 55 in a 65. When it's borderline it shouldn't be called. The point of the rule wasn't to eliminate blocks like that, it was blocks way down field that come out of nowhere

We should've gotten called for a hold though so it was the right result even if not the right call

It's interesting that both that penalty and the next play penalty wouldn't have been called 5 years ago
