Again, WF has refused to wear their home 'black' & wants to wear their road white. Tech will wear our 'dark' jersies for the 1st time since WF game of 2 yrs ago. Tech will also have white pants.
Don't understand why it bugs WF so bad to wear their home colors @ GT. Every other team loves to wear their colors, especially for a road game where they can show them off (Boston College was also an exception to this rule). Maybe the Deacons think it will bring them the kind of luck it brought BC in '98?
Hoping our 'gold' will lay it to them like in '00. Three in a row, babeee!
 
Yeah Fine I'll be glad to wear gold. lat time we did that we beat the Deacs 52-20. I guess they don't want to wear black because of the heat, but it shouldn't matter. Maybe this is a good game to get A.J. really clicking on all cylinders.
 
I have verified with our Eq Mgr......we WILL be in the gold jerseys Saturday.
 
I was wondering what the rule on that was. I'm assuming the away team in NCAA fb gets to choose which jersey?

I always thought that in the NFL the home team chooses colors. Can anyone verify that? Thanks.
 
Officially, the NCAA rules state that the home team will wear a colored (dark) jersey, and the visiting team will wear a white jersey. The exception is that the home team may wear a white jersey if the two teams agree prior to the beginning of the season. As far as I know, Tech and LSU are the only teams that request the option of wearing home whites on a regular basis.
