I'm gonna be the first to go out on a limb and predict that we beat UGA. TB will step up and have a career day. TC rushes for 175. Defense shuts down Knownothingshon. Corners hound UGA's receivers into drops all day, except for when Stafford is lying on his back with the ball in his hands.

There, Yukon, you can call me a homer.

Honestly, their passing game wreaked havoc on Auburn's secondary, which was supposed to be really good. Our secondary is.....well its been discussed.

Luckily we have a pretty good front 7. This should help with Moreno. TC wont be able to rush for 175 unless the O-line steps up. I havent seem them do it yet.

Theoretically, it COULD happen. Secondary and O-line...both are gonna have to step up to make it happen.

I see better hope for GT than exists on paper. I don't know if UGA can keep the same intensity for a game their fans assume as a win. Especially if they beat Kentucky convincingly and they get too high on a probable sugar bowl bid.

Still, I'm not too sure our team could beat even an unmotivated UGA squad at this point.

I am going to say GT loses out and this is coming from a guy that almost never predicts a loss.

We have UNC up next and I don't usually don't 'jump ahead' to upcoming games --but since it is UGA:

In short my feeling is that wins against the hated UGA are few and far between (as I've posted begrudgingly on a few occasions: 11 out of 41 in my lifetime).

Over the past three seasons GT has had an opportunity to definitely win 1 --probably win 2 --perhaps win 3 ...but sits on a six-game losing streak in the series.

These are wasted opportunities because as far as this season goes --right now on November 12th-- UGA simply looks like a much better team than GT. But there is a reason they play the games ...right?

I'm nervous now. This guy predicted we'd lose to Duke. Based on that mighty amount of evidence, I'd say the opposite of his predictions is usually true!

We have to beat UNC before we can win out. Though honestly I can't say I really care about winning out, I just want to beat UGA.

Keep puffing the bong, Techies......UGA will hang 50 on you.

Hey BeeKeeper, congratulations on the new DSL line in your trailer park! :laugher::laugher:

ButtKeeper68, who the hell are you? Your handle would seem to indicate you're a Tech fan, but your posts make you a dumb dawg.

Whatever, you're really beginning to get irritating.

Gonna be a LOT more irritating when you lose to UGA for the 7th time in a row. Goff and Donnan aren't coaching at UGA anymore, but you have your own version of both coaches in Chan. In other words, UGA put a priority on winning the GT game. Even though Goff had a 5-2 record against Tech, but still got fired, Donnan was competitive, but had a losing record against Tech ( 2-3 ) and that's more of the reason he got fired than anything else. The UGA / GT rivalry is something your administration has not prioritized. Sure, I pull for GT when they aren't playing UGA, and I am tired of seeing GT lose when they should be winnning. The recent article Furman Bisher wrote about Bill Curry in the AJC was right on the money. Curry said that Tech is a place where football games should be won on a consistent basis. That should include putting a priority on the UGA / Tech rivalry.

Clearly a Tech fan in disguise.
