To put our performance in perspective, here is a chart I found on ESPN regarding BC's last 8 games compared to the one GT game. Judging by the numbers, I'd say we faired pretty well.

How did Boston College lose to Georgia Tech? Its vaunted rush defense did not do as well as it has in the past eight games.

BC Defense Last 9 Games

-------------------Previous 8 Games -----------Sat. vs. GT
Rush YPG Allowed ------66.3 ---------------------165*
Yds/Rush Allowed --------2.5 ----------------------4.6
Rush TD Allowed ---------5 ------------------------2

* -- Most allowed since Notre Dame ran for 168 last October

What do they give up through the air? If people were bombing for 400 yards/game it wouldn't matter if they couldn't rush for anything. I do think those numbers are sick, though

The average for passing was 218 YPG. Only two teams (F$U and Maryland) broke 300 during that span.
