Chalk up another tool at GT. Sometimes I can sympathize for the UGA fans who complain that they are stereotyped by their loud mouth redneck white trash fan base.

Here's a perfect example of yet another Georgia Tech douche bag giving the rest of us a bad name. Its amazing that someone who probably is very bright can lack any shred of common sense.

Saw it on the news the other night, shook my head in disgust, listened to the mutt wife make a smart ass comment, moved along.

Hopefully he'll have the good sense to be embarrassed later on in life.
 
He's either a complete idiot or a freakin' genius.

Or, somewhere in-between.

I've got it narrowed it down that far.

Saw this on the GSU board also, at least he was a finance major and not an Engineer. Does GAAP mean hiring a consultant?:laugher:
 
A few thoughts:

The media is partly to blame. Every headline I've seen on this ridiculous fluff piece is "Georgia Tech student seeks... " and they make constant references throughout to the university. Fox loves that he's a Tech student because his behavior fits in with the stereotype. If he went to UGA or GA State, Fox probably wouldn't even have reported on this "story". And if they had, his school would be of no consequence.

Second, what is up with this guy? He is the epitome of a loser. Does he have no shame? How can he be willing to put himself on local television to showcase his loserdome for all to see? I just can't believe how little self respect this guy has.

Third, this is the last thing we need. I try to defend the Tech student body as much as I can, but it's difficult when the stereotype is true most of the time. I was out with my hockey team after a game two nights ago and I mentioned that I enjoyed playing the game Guitar Hero. Everyone was laughing, "The Techie loves his video games!". Never mind that I literally haven't played a video game in 7 years before I tried Guitar Hero at my friend's house. It doesn't matter, the perception is that Tech = nerds and that won't change unless the student body actually does change. And I don't see that happening anytime soon.

I don't know about "easily"...I mean that is pretty dumb just about any way you slice it.

Will someone please give this guy the attention he's starving for? He doesn't want the world to see him, he just wants you to know who he is.
