Gun raffle to benefit Flunkout

Not just a gun, but I believe $100 gift certificate and a yeti cooler are also among prizes!

The raffle is by the Iron Circle Atlanta Chapter, that's a law enforcement professionals' club, to benefit Flunkout.

The raffle benefits will go towards getting a new van for Flunkout so he can keep on the hard work at Shepherd Center or wherever possible. Flunkout is improving, so the hard work is paying off!

If you instead prefer a hard ticket, they also have those.

Let me know today, and I will go pick up some tomorrow (Thursday) and deliver them to you Friday morning.

I imagine the firearm transfer might be an issue? I'll donate anyway and if I win I'll have to think up some fun way to give the winnings to one of you local öööö heads.

You'd actually have to arrange shipping to an FFL in their home state. I doubt it would be an issue. The gun shop probably does it all the time.
 
I think a lot of the time gun stores do raffles in the former of a gift card for the amount of a gun. the winner actually has to go into the store and purchase the gun (with the gift card), have his background checked, etc. He can also usually upgrade by spending additional money to get a different gun.

So in the case of an out of state winner, they will probably do the sale and NICS check over the phone, and then ship the gun to your choice of FFL in your home state.

You should probably not mess with this part. Shelby can take care of it if it's an out of state winner for the gun.
 
I'm in! Just bought 5 tix.. I have a Glock 26, but would also like the 43, it's a little thinner.

Couldn't you bypass a lot of this if you know someone with a C&R? At least for long guns?

NM.. ignore the above. It would work in some cases, but not many.

I have someone that wants me to buy them some tix, but if I win, how will know if my ticket wins or theirs? Will we get ticket numbers sent to us if we pay on PayPal?
