“Allen Bailey, Josh Holmes and Marcus Forston give Miami a formidable rotation of defensive tackles that will hold their ground working against the Yellow Jackets’ interior offensive linemen. Behind them, MLB Darryl Sharpton is a downhill thumper who has the strength to help neutralize powerful B-back Jonathan Dwyer and slow down QB Josh Nesbitt between the tackles …
“Georgia Tech will have problems converting in third-and-long situations. CBs Brandon Harris, Sam Shields and Ryan Hill possess the speed and quickness to shadow Thomas and Cone. In addition, Nesbitt has had issues with his timing and accuracy, while the Hurricanes have the athletes up front to force him to get rid of the ball quickly …
“OLB Sedric Griffin and MLB Brad Jefferson [of Tech] are going to have a difficult time slowing explosive RBs Javarris James and Graig Cooper both in the passing game and the running game …
“Miami has the weapons to exploit a Georgia Tech secondary that’s been vulnerable to the big play starting with slot WR Travis Benjamin (5-10, 175 pounds) who has world class speed and is capable of running by FS Cooper Taylor …
“DE Derrick Morgan is capable of disrupting the timing of [Miami quarterback Jacory] Harris and his receivers early and often. Morgan’s blend of speed and power will be too much for heavy-footed RT Matt Pipho to handle. However, Morgan must close under control because Harris does a tremendous job of avoiding the rush and buying his receivers time to get open downfield.”

Well, after reading this, I wonder if it's even worthwhile flying down there to play the game.

Are the airline tickets non-refundable?

Whoo....good thing we're playing on a level field and not a hill. I might have been worried.

:laugher::laugher::laugher:

The amount of pregame support Miami is getting makes them look really really bad if they lose. I would hate to be favored so much after a squeaker against an FSU team that barely beat JSU.

The higher you are lifted up the harder the fall.

This is a good time to point out that the local media is biased against mediocracy and losing, not nessisarly Georgia Tech. Mark Bradley and the AJC have come full circle on GT football since Paul Johnson came here and started winning. It sure is nice to get public support from the media! Hopefully this goodwill will turn into better recruiting in the years to come.

So thumbs up, AJC! Let's pull out a win on Thursday and prove you right!

One thing I'm worried about (the last quote) is Harris's scrambling abilities. Kyle Parker was given quite a bit of time during the Clemson game. I also noticed several times he was able to get out of the pocket with too much open green space. I'm worried we won't contain Harris as much as we'll need to. If we can contain him Thursday night, I'll feel much better about the VPI game.

So, when you're losing, they tend to say bad things about your football team? But when you're winning they say good things? Yes, I'm just giving you a hard time.

This worries me as well, but Clemson's lines (both O and D) are better than Miami's line.

And I think we can get pressure, the question is if we can do it consistently. Long drives will help to alleviate this problem.

ESPN is sure high on MIA's world class speed!

We really shouldn't show up for this game. Is it too late to forfeit I mean it seems like no matter what position we have MIA is just simply going to be better at it.

Wow, they even have one guy with two answers to our offense!

Nope, we should just fly back home.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe we will just go down to San Juan instead of Miami in the morning.

World class speed! So will the announcers mention this every other sentence like they did with celmson?

Not really sure, never watched them. I prefer women who actually have a bra size, and have more than two brain cells rubbing together creating friction.

I agree on the brain cells thing. But I have seen many gorgeous women who don't have large tatas. I guess I am more of an a$$ man. Speaking of which, Paris has none.

I'm more of a belly man myself (I can't read any of bellyseries posts) hence the lovely lady in my avatar. :)

Bellies and smiles > tatas.

Although, tatas can make up for a lot of other things.
