Maybe we don't win this game if it wasn't for the turnovers...Certainly need to do something about the defensive schemes. Has anyone ever heard of the blitz!?
 
I don't know whether blitzing is the solution, but absolutely yes - something has to be done. Our defense has gone from disappointing to offensively bad.
 
Shows how bad UNC's offense is when we allowed 7 pts to them (one long pass), and they only scored 3 against UVagina today.
 
One of our DE's was horrible against the option. You'd think we'd be better on this issue.

Our tackling is really bad.

Our linebacker play seems non-existent.

Our CB play against the pass is weak by one player.

We need a few safeties to return.


BUT worse, our kickoff teams are really bad, except for our young return man Orwin Smith.


However, we beat a good SEC team on the road. And our offense is starting to really gel. Josh is really starting to figure it out this year. And so is PJ.
 
MSU lost this game due to turnovers. Luckily we were able to capitalize on them otherwise I believe MSU would have scored at will and would have kept this game closer.

Just need to learn how to tackle. Flashbacks of 1999 defense.
 
I don't care if you're playing the 85 Bears and get no turnovers, you should win a game with 42 points and 480 yards on offense. Otherwise, you belong in the WAC.
 
I think we need to see if shame is a motivator for them. Seemed that way last week after the Miami game but then we go back to sucking. It is really hard to gauge our defense. I mean it isn't good by any standard, but how bad is hard to tell. I asked a fairly football knowledgeable friend of mine which team was better, FSU or Miss St, and he honestly couldn't tell.

Miss St might have a really good offense. They do remind me a lot of how we were last year. They even have a running back carrying a lot of the load like we did.
 
Last week was an abberation. UVA held Carolina to 3 points.
 
MSU's RB is amazing. You have to give him a ton of credit. Also, this MSU team is not a bad team at all. LSU had more trouble with them than us. Be happy. We are 4-1. Only 1 loss and we are almost half way through the season.
