about playing Wake Forest..especially after a UGA loss. Folks, this is WAKE FOREST of all schools. They are there because the conference is flatter than a pancake this year. On one of the radio sports talk shows this am, they were poking fun of the game calling it "the world's smallest outdoor cocktail party".

boy...you really worry a lot about what people say.

Fact is Wake is 10-2...and their senior-laden team (I believe 19 senior starters or something crazy like that)...plays with remarkable precision. Their QB makes the right reads and the team executes flawlessly. The coach on the field (Skinner) and the experience of the others both on offense and defense really shows. I was skeptical until I watched them play two full games (FSU and Maryland).

Wake is a great team, and we will be butchered on a stick if Reggie plays like he did this past week.

The bottom line is this:

Wake would beat UGA this year.

We need to work on our consistency if we hope to emerge victorious.

If we cant beat wake, we would never surivive the unholy ass-whipping LSU would put on us... So the ACCCG will be a good test of our mettle before a nice southern throwdown...

Dude, I can't imagine Reggie's confidence not being completely crushed by 90 thousand UGA fans chanting 'Reggie' in unison as he walks off the field, after giving them the game for the fourth year in a row. If he ever had any confidence at all, any poise whatsoever, it's gone. Kaput. He is now a shell of a player and a waste of space on our roster.

And there's no prayer of beating Wake or any team we could possibly face in a bowl (other than UGA, because they truly suck) without a QB who is at least servicable.

Hosed. We. Are.

They aren't kidding. Have you seen the tickets for sale on Ebay?? Had a Tech buddy of mine get 2 40 yrd line club seats for $30 a piece yesterday!!!!!!!!!:ugh:

Hey, hivered, Wake does Not have anywhere near 19 seniors starting. None of their starting backfield is a senior. The QB is a RS frosh. Their starting TB began the season as a WR, (he's a junior) but after losing their 1st three running backs to injury, he switched to TB. All of their skill players are FAST.

No, they're not all seniors. But, they are all GOOD.

Forget about it folks, we ain't winning with R***** B*** at quarterback. LOL.

I get excited about watching the Jackets play regardless of the opponent. I was pumped for Duke.

I was opposed to expansion, and I liked the ACC much better as a 9-team complete round robin, but I have to say now that I like having an extra game of Jackets football to watch, especially after that disappointment Saturday.

I'm looking for a balm for the UGAg debacle, and I hope our players are too.

No Wake is there because they beat 10 teams this year. Need any other help with the way this stuff works?

Wake is 10-2 and is a good football team. Wake stands in the way of GT winning the ACC title, reaching the Orange Bowl and achieving a 10 win season. I'm excited about the game.

My only problem is that my daughter's competition cheerleading team has a competition in Nashville this weekend, so with a 1 o'clock kickoff I'm going to have to hot-foot it out of the arena and back to my hotel room in order to make kickoff. Also, I better remember to take my laptop in order to listen to Wes and Van Note.

And why are we in the Championship as well?
