....and how much would it stink if they won the division!

They do not play Boston College, Clemson, or FSU from the other division!!! unbelievable!

They get to play Maryland, NCState, Duke, and North Carolina.

We handed them that game and put them in position (because they could not do it themselves) to go to the ACCCG.

We really have to pull for Maryland or NCState to "upset" Virginia...then VaTech and Miami to both pound Virginia. Those are the only 4 ACC games they have left...as we want them to have 3 losses.

They go OOC to play MTSU and UConn. Thay already beat Pitt and lost to Wyoming.

Heck...if we do not make it (and we still have a real shot) I at least want Miami or VT to go in our stead.

arrgh.

p.s. this is just fun to banter about...I already know we just need to take care of our games and let the chips fall where they may.

UVa also plays Wake from the Atlantic Division. And EVERYONE (including us) in the Coastal Division plays UNC and the Dookies.

But your point still holds - They have a very easy out-of-division schedule. I'm not sure who their designated "rival" in the Atlantic is (Maryland to our Clemson). However, it's mostly just the luck of the rotation.

Wake gets Duke, UNC, and UVA. BC gets GT, VT, and Miami. BC has more to complain about than we do.

I'll be more than happy if we win out even if we don't make the ACCCG. If UVa makes it, then congrats to them for doing what they had to do.

We say we handed UVA the game and Clemson says they handed us the game. It looked like UNC pretty much handed Va Tech a victory, too. Doesn't anybody ever win games anymore?

Clemson just could not get anything going offensively for more than a few plays at a time. Historically, they have scored on us with big plays...not long drives. However, we held our assignments well and kept that from happening with good open field tackling.

The difference..to me...in the UVA game is you can easily point to "one play" that lost it. You can take the fumbled punt inside our own 20...or even moreso the false start on 4th and 1 at around the 10 yard line as we were about to score.

Boston College was not frustrating to me at all because they clearly just outplayed us offensively and defensively. They play solid, disciplined, sharp football. Kudo's too them....and I just hope we can somehow meet them again in JAX.
