coach from the sideline. I.E. Bud Foster, Mickey Andrews, Brian Van Gorder, Will Muschamp, Bo Pellini. Almost everyone of today's top DC's are on the sidelines and not up in the pressbox.

Defense needs to be played with intensity and a lot of emotion, You need a kick arse DC that is there on the sideline and in your face the whole game. One characteristic of these teams mentioned here with these DC's is that if your a defensive player and you screw up, you dread coming over to that sideline and getting your butt handed to you by one of these fiery in your face coaches.

Does anyone know anything about our new DC? Does he coach from the sideline? Or in the press box ?

I'm sick and tired of looking at our defenses and the lack of emotion and intensity and coaches just standing there on the sidelines or worst yet in the pressbox trying to outwit offenses with a one trick pony (Blitz every down) I have also noticed a very disturbing characteristic of our defenses under Tenuta, they play with intensity the 1st Quarter and then lose all intensity. He just stays up there in that pressbox trying to out trick everyone. Worst yet, yesterday he just stood there on the sideline and showed no emotion.

Thoughts?

Thoughts .... here's a couple:

Where was the personal and team pride that took the first 90-yard buttkicking REAL hard?

Where were the guys willing to do anything to prove that Fresno was NOT the better team?

Where were the guys with the guts to decide that the first buttkicking was NOT, by God, going to happen again?

Of course, maybe those guys were there after all, Fresno just really was the better team and there was nothing our guys could do about it?

I dunno.
