According to them the search is down to these 2 candidates....any truth to this story. I can't read it all so if someone has rights...provide us w/ a summary...The intro just saying that it looks like it is down to these 2 as of Monday night...

A week has now passed in the search for the next football coach at Georgia Tech and word started trickling down Monday night that the process could be coming to a close. Two coaches apparently have climbed to the top of the list and one name in particular has emerged as the frontrunner.

Article says that search is down to Hatcher and Johnson; will interview again soon; Neuheisel out of running but he doesn't know why.

I haven't seen a reason to put much faith in those articles there. Then again I don't put much faith in any reports at this point. There's only one rumor I believe: the Jackets will soon trade for Johan Santana and name him their coach...

Sorry, I'm getting my teams and rumors confused. I'm a little burnt out on message boards now.

How about Andru Jones...he's young energetic and available, sell tickets, bring in the sidewalk fan, & already lives in the ATL area.....maybe he could work directly with the WR and teach them how to consistantly catch the ball....Hire Jones...

Neuheisel's Ravens nearly beat the Patriots last night! :wow:

Yeah... you know, I'm curious, did anyone hear Neuheisel's name mentioned at all in last night's broadcast (which was awful, BTW)? It definitely sounded like it's was always Billick's offense - but I guess we knew that anyway.

I never heard it once. I was hoping he called that timeout. That would make him dumb enough to be out of our running

For what it is worth I just heard the same thing. I like CH for enthusiasm and energy he will bring to the program. This is diferent than what same folks were saying last night that CH was out so take it for what it is worth
