I am hearing a great deal of pessimism from fans on this board after beating UNC only by 7 points.

I am not by any means denying the fact that we definitely off today but, here are some other notable teams who beat UNC by 7 points or less:

Rutgers (9-0) beat UNC by 5 points, 21-16
Remember this is the same Rutgers team that is now in the National Title hunt.
Wake Forest (8-1) beat UNC by 7 points, 24-17
Wake is tied for 1st place in the Atlantic Division and we might just play them in the ACC Championship game in December.

I had to post this thread after hearing BOR say that

We will get our asses beat by the Atlantic rep in ACCCG

funny that the team we might play in Jacksonville also beat this UNC team by 7 points. We all need to calm down and realize: that we won the game and ARE HEADING TO JACKSONVILLE and are one step closer to the Prestigious Orange Bowl.

The problem isn't so much that we only won by seven. The problem is that we only scored 7 freakin points and our Quarterback still can't hit the broad side of a battleship.

I don't think there is much pessimism at all. The key word you are missing in many of these posts is "if".

I did not think this game was going to be easy, but also didn't imagine that RB would be this bad. Not a good time of the year for him to regress.
