Have the Aggies lit a bonfire?

I imagine Texas A&M is a much nicer stadium than UGAg's now with the expansion. If you are gonna spend money, may as well go big time for a coach.
 
I heard they were in talks with Kirby Smart. They like the staff he is putting together. Sure, it would be a dick move for KS on uga, but the Aggie's have a much higher ceiling, and the cash to make it happen.
 
If aTm wants Kirby, they have the cash to get him. There will always be turmoil at Butt-Smear until they hire Derek Dooley and recruit the next Herschel Walker or one of his personalities.

It's not like aTm hasn't swipped Bama's coach in the past or anything. And it's not like they lost more 5 star qb's off the roster than the rest of the SEC had combined.

Smart isn't an idiot. His agent was working this angle before he took the uga stepping stone job.
 
Year or two ago Sumlin was THE hot coach in the SEC. Also Malzahn. Spurrier was a god, now they've torn down his giant plastic banner, much like the Stalin statues. The SEC is a region of banana republics, I'm embarrassed to say.

When did aTm swipe bama's coach?

If they fire Sumlin now, I believe they think they will get a jump on UT in getting after Hermann. Flavor of the month coach hiring is idiotic.

Man, you are right. And I can not remember why he left bama. Some scandal I guess.

Can not imagine losing 2 qb like that, and one of them a legacy that everyone wanted..
