Have a very special season in 2025. I have no idea the extent of his shoulder injury but if he returns 100% our offense should be tough to defend. I wonder what his plans are?

I hope he can fully recover. He is special, but it looked like to me like he had some pain issues after almost every tackle, last night.

Also, I hope it is all a ruse and that he can/will throw the ball against ugag. :)

I dunno what his plans are, but a lot of guys would have shut it down and started looking at the portal already. Big credit to him.
Why do people keep bringing up the portal with Haynes King? He is the starter. We keep trying to play him even when he’s hurt. There is nothing suggest the coaches have lost confidence in him. Did Cam Rising transfer? QB’s transfer when they get hurt and then after they return get passed by. Not while they’re recovering from injury.

We all know Haynes King can throw the ball downfield when healthy. He simply isn’t healthy right now. I’m not sure when it happened or started.

Haynes king got hurt at the UNC game. I was in the first row directly behind the Tech bench in Chapel Hill. I remember vividly he attempted a deep pass to Singelton and came off the field on 4th down and was in clear pain. The next 3 series he would come to the sidelines and looked in pain but wanted to tough it out. He would be on the sidelines looking like he was arm wrestling a ghost trying to get his arm ‘right’. Once Weinke and other staff members realized he more than a little hurt they took them in the Tent and pulled him for Pyron for rest of that game. It’s no mystery as to when he got hurt but the mystery is what got hurt. Personally I think rotator cuff. All I know is as a 38 year lifelong Tech fan who attended every single game this year besides Syracuse & Louisville I can say without hesitation Haynes is one of my favorite QBs at tech slightly behind Joe Ham but in the same class as Godsey, Nesbitt, and Justin Thomas. In today’s college football NIL deals/Portal I think less than 1% of people in his situation would choose to play. He could easily do what Gabriel or Ward did and take big dollars next year. Truthfully I wouldn’t of blamed him kinda similar to when Gibbs transferred Bama away from Clown as it’s just the smart thing to do. Appreciate Haynes King because when you look up in dictionary the word “Tech Man” you will see his picture next to it. He brought us out of the dark ages for Tech football from the Clown era

If King has a rotator cuff tear and has surgery immediately after the UGA game, I wonder if he’d be ready to go in September? That would give him a 9 month rehab. Yesteryear he would probably just go ahead and move on with his life but now he may not want to leave NIL money on the table.

The question is move on to what? He can do anything but Tech may be his best path to play football one more year. I’m convinced he is a Tech man

I'm not sure if we'll ever know what the injury is. The coaches and team have been doing a good job of keeping it under wraps when other people in GTAA don't know. I would be surprised if one of him or Philo doesn't transfer out. If King were healthy, it wouldn't even be close to a decision for me.
