"That's pretty exciting":wow: Coach J has quite a few in depth quotes in this nicely written & nicely worded column from the AJC's Terence Moore in Sunday's edition. (The AJC writers have taken to Paul Johnson's quotability;)).
The Head Yellow Jacket went on to point out that Navy is 12th nationally in passing efficiency "which is more important, not how many times u throw it":p. Johnson uses other play 'packages' as well. E.G "counter options, draws, play action, etc". The coach wants to see what 'packages' work best with the current Ga Tech players.
GT's #1 football mind was rather terse when asked about the decommitment of Renfree, "Don't need him. Don't want him. Doesn't fit the system.:ugh:"

Yeah, every time we play a lower tier team with a losing record, just like Navy did last year.

Yeah, not exactly sure how you feel, but every time we beat a team with MORE talent than we have, like every opponent that NAVY played, I will be so disappointed..</sarcasm>

Damn, I must have missed something. I thought CPJ was gonna coach GT's players. Is he bringing Navy's players with him?
