Not sure exactly where they got the quote, but this has to be about the dumbest thing I have heard in a while. Chan won't let Bond do his own thing, our WR's can't catch balls that hit them in the numbers, but Gailey thows Bond under the bus and says he'll take back over playcalling? I HOPE the team comes out passing lights out so that Gailey never takes "full" control again. It's bad enough that he keeps his hand in the cookie jar all the time IMHO, but please let Bond do his thing! I have been neutral for a very long time in the "keep Chan/fire Chan" debate, but if he takes back over playcalling, I think it is going to make me decide once and for all...
 
Be very careful what you take from 750 as it relates to college football information. I know we hear a lot of complaints about unfavorable reporting from the local media. I don't have a problem with 680, 790 or the AJC but 750 is ridiculous (and a big part of the reason many GT fans are so angry at 790 - because 790 doesn't consistently blow smoke up our arses the way 750 does for UGAg).

I realize they are the flagship dawg station. They typically do not discuss GT that much at all, even when bad things happen. This was the morning news cast, so not some in depth sports show either. Maybe they based their "quote" from the latest ajc article by moore. Not sure - but it worried me regardless as it is something that I could DEFINITELY see him trying to pull.
 
Do you really think they got a scoop? Unless it's in the AJC and Macon Telagraph I would assume it's just something they decided to say.
 
I will be very glad if this is total BS...just reporting what I heard.
 
750 isn't news. It's agenda driven drivel, from sunup to sundown, spoon fed to a target audience who wants to hear what they're saying, so they'll stay through the commercials and they can make more advertising revenue.
 
That is not true, he will not go back to calling the plays. He can't!
 
yeah that was a bunch of crap. Bond will still call them...Gailey's meddling factor has gone up though. I don't really care for that.
 
The meddling factor was addressed this week. Maybe we can score points and Bond can breathe!
 
I heard that Chan has been so disappointed with our kickoffs, that he is going to suit up and kick against Maryland.

Chan is a barefoot kicker by the way.

I heard a certain poster on Stingtalk was really Lady Chablis (I realize there are quite a few who could fit that bill).

I don't know if you are trying to imply that was a bad call.

Unless the head coach is going to get a pass when the offense performs poorly they should always have input.
