Helmet logo has always looked better. No reason for the two logos to be different. I've heard the curvature justification but that makes no sense. Why would that affect serifs for example. Proportion and widths are more consistent on the helmet logo as well. Even on a flat surface.
First time I've noticed that the top of the T in the primary logo is unbalanced, while the helmet T is the same length of both side.This was brought up briefly in another thread. The GT on the football helmet has been different from its use anywhere else. Do you think we will ever change that to match the "Primary" GT logo, or that we even should?

This logo is different than both of those above.Here's something else kind of odd. We used to use that logo as the primary. On apparel and even as shown here on the field in 1979.

The size increased around '07, but we've had this different helmet logo for decades.I think some time later in the Gailey years they decided to make the GT larger on the helmets. That and being roundish likely dictates the difference.
