Corso says against Florida State. Herbstreit says against Boston College.

Did they indicate how they think that will happen - i.e., who is going to knock VT out of our way?

do they say how long before we are going to come out of this financial crisis?

The FSU game is the one I am most worried about. They are dangerously close to being "back".

They are also dangerously close to be as terrible as they have been for the last three seasons.

I'd worry more about playing BC, seeing how close the last game was.

I agree BC is the better team. If we do make the ACCCG I think that is who we play.

Corso's scenario requires either us or FSU to make the game with 2 conference losses, losses that would include a tiebreaker. I find that highly improbable.

They don't have to indicate how we go, they assume we win out ACC and VT loses one more.

Assuming VT loses one more is much less of a stretch than us winning 4 more in a row.

If that's how they assume we'll get there, then how does FSU make it with 2 losses, one of which is to Wake?

That's my point.

I think FSU is a good bet to get in, individually, and Tech is a good bet to get in, individually, but I don't think a GT/FSU championship game is a good bet, because whoever loses the GT/FSU game may very well be eliminated.

Herbstreit probably realizes that.

The CG, if I were to pick it today, I'd say either BC-Tech or FSU-VT.

I too think BC is the best team in the ACC right now, though.

I don't understand why everyone thinks we're now "leading" the coastal. Both us and VPISU have one conference loss. We lose the tie breaker to VPISU. We still need FSU to win today and we still need to win out. We may be the best team in our division, but we're not in the best shape.

Oh, well I don't agree with Corso. I am going with GT against BC. I thought you meant how do they assume we get in, not how does GT and FSU get in.

Well hell, if we're all passing around the kool aid, I can think of no possible season outcome more satisfying than beating Georgia and beating FSU twice in the same year.

Looking at VPISU's schedule, I still think we're in some trouble. There's no way we get into the ACC title game with two ACC losses. After Free Shoes today, the Turkeys have Miami, the Turtles, Duke, and the gay cowboys. VPISU is good enough to beat all four of those teams. We need to root hard for St. Bobby today, and then win out.
