Here are a few of my observations from the game.

The biggest surprise is the lack of offensive blocking. Too many blitzing Clemson players were not picked up. If Ball wasn't as mobile as he is the sacks would have been even greater. From my perspective this has been an issue since the BYU game. Don’t know if the blocking schemes are bad or it’s just poor execution.

Refrigratormover, I'm looking forward to your post on the performance of the offensive line.

Are our defensive backs that slow or the Clemson receivers that fast? We seemed to be in the right position on most plays but the Clemson receivers out-ran, out-jumped, out-reached our defensive backs most of the game. Outside the opening quarter, we didn’t put enough heat on Whitehurst to prevent an excellent thrower from completing the pass.

Coaching; like last year we don't make game-time adjustments. This is also a surprise.

Didn’t like taking a knee with time for one-play at the half.

Anyone see it differently?
