Something to consider here if he does apply for medical RS is will it be granted. Is this due to a medical condition that has something to do with football? Is it a health issue due to something nonfootball related? Just something to think about. I'm sure the team is and has looked into all this.

Just wish the best for Greg. What a great career he's had at GT. His huge record is nothing to take for granted. That guy has worked his tail off to be the best. He's been nothing short of great!

We're not just losing a player but a leader on the D on the field this weekend. The others need to step up big. Think a lot of Fred Wright and Eric Henderson. If they've ever had an opportunity to come up big it's now!

I'll bet the whole reason he didn't want to redshirt earlier is that he couldn't bring himself to sit and watch his team go the rest of the season without him. I can't imagine how hard it was for him to make that decision.

I think it's a good decision. The main thing is for Greg to get healthy. I think he will have a faster, easier road to health if he is not taking (or is that delivering

) hits on a daily basis.
