Here\'s why I think.............

We won the game last night.

1 for 14 on third down conversions for Miamaaaa

Great Job Defense.

Offensive Line played better and when our running backs run down hill we always got plus yardage.

Great concentration by the receivers and great decisions by reggie to get rid of the ball. 11/30 doesn't bother me especially when no interceptions are thrown.

I thought the play calling and mixing up the pass and run was great. 44 rushes and 30 passes is a great run/pass %.

We held the ball 9 minutes longer, see above 1 for 14 in 3rd down conv.

No dumb penalties and i believe no offsides by the DL.

The thing that stood out the most though was it was a great 60 minute effort by everyone

Very good points RM,
Another thing I'm noticing is the OL seems to be getting better as the year goes on. I was well pleased with the play calling also and especially the concentration of the receivers on pass plays. NO FEAR among these guys. Cooper had a good night and I'm proud for him. Pretty good job all around for GT.

I know i'm hardest on the O-Line but i do see huge potentials, i think two backups got to play as well.

I honestly think with the bowl game and winter,spring and summer preparations we will not have to worry about our O-Line for sometime to come.

Somebody needs to slip some down right nasty 2 15 yard penalty pills in their drinks this week to make sure the gaggers understand what they are up against.

I just gotta say this one thing:
Going in to last night's game, due to last week's tragic surprises, I figured we would be either the most pathetic horrible team in history and flat as a pancake; OR, we would rise up and play the best game of the year out of spite. Last night not only did I see individuals playing their positions as I think they should be and a GT team playing as a team, I also the most important thing in this team, which is "CHARACTER". As a team they pulled together and seemed to "WILL" that they leave all they had on the field. That's what I'm talking about!!!!!!THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!
When circumstances get this team down, they have character and find a way to get out from under the circumstance.
"TEAM CHARACTER" yes sir, I like it. Now, if GT had lost that game last night, I would not have felt hard toward the team because they gave it their best shot and that's all I ask. LEAVE IT ALL ON THE FIELD.
 
I was surprized Honeycutt didn\'t play

I didn't know he had a bad knee. Anybody know if he will be back for UGAg.

Rome, as an athlete the most gratification you can get is when you play 60 minutes and know when you go inside after the game you can look yourself in the mirror and know that you gave everything you have.

If you can do that then you will achieve a high level of continued success.

GEORGIA TECH DID JUST THAT LAST NIGHT!
