Who would have ever thought that U. South Florida would be ranked higher than;

2) Sou Cal?
3) VT?
4) Florida?
5) Florida State?
6) Texas?
7) Georgia Tech?
8) UGA?
9) Alabama?
10) Auburn?
11) Tennessee?
12) Penn State?
13) Notre Dame?
14) Miami?
15) Michigan?

and the list goes on.

Those guys down in Florida must have learned the key to winning football. University of South Florida goes up against the GOL gang this weekend, so that'll be interesting.

Maybe our friend RM-2 is training those boys up right.

With the Big-East deviod of its traditional power teams, it is not that odd to hear USF (or WV or Rutgers) being highly ranked.

Having watched their games for a few years now, it is clear to me they have the talent to compete in the BE, but the jury is still out, in my eyes, as to just how well they would fare in a better/deeper conference...Mike

Several years ago someone on the Hive forcast that South Florida would become a dominant team.

I would imagine that they can recruit any athlete without worrying too much about SAT or grades.

True, but recruiting for them still isn't easy as they have to compete with UF, F$U, and scUM for recruits.
