in 2000, i think Clemson was top 5 before GT knocked them off...

I seem to also remember Clemson was one of the better teams Tech beat in the national title run. UGA has a pretty subpar team that year.

Through the dense fog that is my memory, I can still see GOL's defense keeping Clemson from crossing the goal line as they continued pounding. An outstanding defense that did more than its share in leading the team toward the NC.
