First, Keep your head up Tony. This will be a very mentally hard time. I have torn my ACL twice now and I kind of know what you are going through. Tony can get back to full speed by next football season, it just takes a good surgeon and very, very hard work. I had the surgery in the beginning of May of '99 and was given complete release at the end of August of '99. I didn't have a miniscus tear. The miniscus will just set starting the rehab back about a week and a half to two weeks. I am not saying he will be able to play in four months, but what everyone is saying two football seasons is wrong unless something goes wrong. I know Tech people haven't had the best of luck with ACL's (Curry and Hatch), but look at Edgrin James for the Colts, he is back. Frank Gore for Miami tore his in the spring and he may return in October. All I am saying is his career is definitly not over and he can have an outstanding senior season. Good luck with it Tony.
