Holy Crap...Albert Rocker

I dont claim to be a great judge of talent, but it seems like the kid has some really good instincts, keeps the linemen off of him well, and has very very good acceleration for a fairly good sized HS DE. Will be great to have him in the white and gold.

Yeah he looks good but Rivals says that he is 6'1 196, which is way too small for a DE

I'm sure after he works out with the team for a couple of years, he will be at least as big as Hall or Wheeler and looks to have just as much tenacity.

Very, very quick.

He really closes quickly and punishes the qb or rb.

Several times he "throws" the block aside and tackles two or three opponents. :wow:

Philip Wheeler/Antonio Cox

Philip Wheeler was another guy who played on the edge with one hand on the ground down at Shaw HS in Columbus, and he seems to have turned out okay for us.

Also saw where one recruiting analyst compared Rocker to ex-Twiggs Co DE and current Clemson Tigger LB Antonio COx, and he can play a little football hisself.

I think Big Al's gonna fit right into the White and Gold

He plays on a strong team but I sure wish he was playing LB now.At DE now he is way too quick for OLs but at 200 he needs to learn the LB position so he can make a quicker transition here because he sure ain't gonna be at DE at Tech..

Look at about 43 seconds in...

I really like the tackle he makes about 43 secs into the clip where he takes down TWO people at once...

Both Keyaron Fox and Philip Wheeler played zero LB in high school...instead playing DE as a pure rusher...both at about 195-200 lbs.

We do not need Rocker next year...so he has time.

...and I love the play where he tackles the QB and TB at the same time...hilarious. Notice also that when he tackles people he knocks them 3 yards.
