Homer was a class act and innovator in student athlete programs and initiatives. Well deserved.

Absolutely well-deserved. Love the man. Great person.
I was there working with him and Curry as they drug us back into relevance.
It took their charisma and professionalism to convince the student body to agree to pay a new athletic fee based upon the hopes that we could once again be competitive.
Ten years later we won the Natty in football and went to the Final 4 in basketball.

This is great news. My father played football at Centre and knew him, so he was the first person I met with on campus during my initial visit before enrolling. Even though Tech was at a really low point (he had just arrived) you could tell from Homer's enthusiasm and past successes that he was going to right the ship, and do it with integrity.
