Honest question for those against booing

First off, I'm not trying to pick sides in this argument at all.

I am curious how the non-booers would show their "displeasure" if, God forbid, we lose to Duke. It's our last home game of the season, and if in fact we do lose, I'm sure we would be coming off probably 2-3 previous losses. So knowing that it is the last chance you as a fan would get to be vocal about your displeasure, would you honestly not have a negative reaction towards what would have become a downward spiral of a season?

I don't think booing accomplishes anything except for making the fan feel good for a couple of minutes. The players and coaches know when they screwup and hopefully they feel bad about it. To answer your question, if we lose to Duke and you want to make your displeasure known, call Dave Braine, call the Chan Radio show, drop or lower your AA donation, don't buy season tickets (with 55,000 seats, single game tickets will not be a problem) just don't boo.

I've always thought a deafening silence made a decent protest. I guess if you just "have to" express yourself booing is preferable to throwing poopy. Or you could take on sackcloth & ashes and wander the campus yelling "fire ______! He's got to go!" Or you could do what UT fans like to do and sneak into the official's parking areas and make a complete asshat out of yourself. That might be satisfying.
