Honest Question

With the boards the way they are and the Hive would be the same if it werent under censorship, is it in any way a good decision to bring back CCG and continue this turmoil.

Personally I would prefer to see GT finish 9-3 (who wouldn't right?) and we could just forget about the HC situation. Finish 8-4 (beat UGA) and you can still forget about it. I have never been a full-fledged CG supporter --but he is the HC at GT and because of that I want him to succeed.

I would prefer to keep things in tact --not wanting to rebuild with a new coaching staff --recruiting coordinators, etc... I just want to win a couple of more games a year --beat UGA from time-to-time --and every now and again win the ACC and play in a BCS bowl --challenge for another national title at some point.

We may very well not be able to achieve this under CG -- his detractors will say we cannot --and they do have a history of five straight five-loss seasons --five losses to UGA --and yearly losses to inferior opponents on their side.

It is time to move forward --hell it is probably past time --the chance may have passed us by last season and we may very well have peaked and are heading back down the slope --I don't know and I'm glad it's not my job to make the decision.

8-4 with a win over UGA is a good season. I said it before the season started, and I'll stick by that.

I wrote it and i agree, i think you know what i am asking though.

With the turmoil as it such as it is and also i think it speaks volumes regarding the answer to your question so probably it should be done just as you Hive think whatever.

I think turmoil is almost as not players seem it be to fans, except shouldn't be if it isn't.

I want to play too:

Their could be less of a turmoil and we might not have this Chan thing going on with a few wins like we used to do when Donnan was the coach in Athens.

Please show me a major team with at least one loss whose fans are not in "turmoil", and I will answer your very loaded and prejudicial question...Mike

Throw in a couple of "such as" for good measure and you will have Miss South Carolina's take on the GT coaching situation. For example:

Such as, I think turmoil is almost, such as, players seem it to be, such as, to fans, except, such as, shouldn't be if it, the Georgia Tech, such as, isn't.

Without turmoil and bad weather all of the media heads would be without jobs! Who would hire Chris Mortenson for anything?

Honest question: What turmoil?

Oh you mean the internet whack-jobs that think someone should be fired every time a team loses.

Well said Tampa and Kirbee. This "turmoil" is partly induced by the opportunity for fools to post whatever they want on these message boards. The fact is, there is a percentage of fans who are in complete anguish and disgust for the program with any loss. And that applies to every single team in the country.

And then carry it over during a win streak.

All CCG needs is one more good coach. That being said, as soon as he brings in that great American and fine statesman of a football coach, Mover2, he'll have a line that no one can handle. When RM2 coaches the line, after the 1st play of each game there will be an airplane fly over BDSGF with one of those advertisement tails behind it stating:

"FEAR THIS"
