so were two games in and have 4 interceptions. we had 5 all last year! they were great in the redzone and the defense picked it up big time in the second half against BC! tenuta who? im liking this defense far better than tenuta's "rush the qb and let them pick apart our secondary type" defense. to tell u the truth our past years would have let up big time in the second half. it was a hot game and the defense was still tough that shows great conditioning! i give much praise to the new head coach in picking his defense coordinator and conditioning our guys!

I like the corners gambling on the occasional pick. I don't blame Tenuta though. Our O the past few years didn't have the pop to make up for a big mistake. So, the corners had to go for the sure tackle over a potential INT.

Our O this year is built on opportunity, not yards. We are just as likely to score from 80 yards out as we are from 40. The previous O was built to grind slowly up the field (even over several positions).
 
Our defense so far is surprisingly outstanding.
 
We have a pretty good defense, they are playing with all their hearts! On the other hand, we didn't play a serious offense yet. We couldn't really shut down the BC offense which got outscored by their own defense in the scrimmage game.

I am not trying to be overly critical, I am just saying wait a few more games for the 'outstanding' mark.
