How bad is Bobo and Richt gonna make Tenuta's D look?

depends. If we can compete offensively our defense should be alright.

Problems on our D have mainly been about the secondary IMHO. Not saying they won't get it going this week but Stafford was under 50% with 99 yards a two picks last week. If Tenuta is made to look bad it will be because Stafford exploits our secondary.

I think that UGA's scheme is a pretty good matchup for us. They don't like to ask their young OL to do to much right now and their running game seems to be built on a lot of stuff outside the tackles. That is a better matchup for us than some of the other teams we have faced.

I liked what UNC did against us in the air, I thought they had a nice scheme to attack our defense, but UGA doesn't play that type of game. Stafford has great raw skills, but he is up and down. His Oline didn't protect him that well last week. I'm curious to see what our front 7 can do against their young O-line.

If they get up early or GT is unable to do anything on offense, they are going to get it cooking. However, I believe they could struggle with our defense especially if we get mo early on.

you never know...look at the game against West Virginia last year.

Our defense has been absolutely unbeatable at times...and helpless against the pass at others. We have particularly had trouble with giving up long drives right after a drive for a TD from our offense. We have done this on three occasions just after halftime (Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina)...its a head scratcher.

I really do not know what scares me worse...our offense trying to move the ball on their defense...or our defense trying to stop their passing attack. Fortunately, I think we can run the ball on them....but we are going to have to win a low scoring game to beat them I think.

Bobo has yet to figure Tenuta out so far, so I'm not that worried about it from a scheme perspective, like the BC game or the Maryland game.

I am concerned about our ability to tackle NoCaine Mareno though, and I'm still concerned about our secondary play from a skill perspective.

I'm worried about their vertical passing game and our secondary.

I think Morgan is going to help us a lot here. Jahi usually has tight coverage he just has to figure out how to make some plays. Hopefully, we will slow the run game with our athletic front 7 and then they can't get on track because they keep looking for the deep ball. I think we will see more of the blitz this week than we have in weeks past.

Based on recent history in the series, not very. Hopefully they have figured out how to make your defense pay when it gambles, and that relies primarily on the recognition and decision making ability of the QB.

If Stafford can get the offense out of the bad plays and into the good plays at the LOS and make the right reads after the snap, UGA will score a lot.

But that is a BIG "if".

Yeah but what about our nickel coner vs their slot receiver, be it Henderson, Bailey or Massquoi all three are pretty fast. And with the way Avery Robertson looked vs VPI lets just hope they are saving their best drops for this game. If we can stop the run, cover the TE and play a bit more cover 2 we have a chance.

The right route is usualy the skinny post, that's why the matchup in the slot will be key on blitzing downs, which is to say almost every down. Hopefuly we can drop a linebacker in zone to anticipate this or jam the man at the line, DE penetration on the three step drop is also key, get your hands up guys!!!

We need to get to Stafford. Early and often.

Paging Mr. Wheeler, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Richard.

Paging Mr. Wheeler, you appear to have left Your-Game at concourse Four-Weeks-Ago. Please retrieve Your-Game before this weekend. Thank you.

Remembering Morgan Burnett's sack of ND, I would love to see Morgan, just take down Stafford. Let Stafford crawl off the field and lick'em for a while before he returns and gets a taste of another sack. Mr. Johnson could really hurt Stafford if he can get thru.

How well our defense does depends on if our offense turns the ball over in Tech territory. Our D is terrible when the offense gives it up deep in our own territory. I know this is a tough situation for any defense, but ours has been especially soft in this situation. I'm talking, like 1 play TDs for the opposing offenses. UVA & UNC come to mind. IIRC, there were quick TDs after turnovers against VPI & MD.
