How do we do polls?

Well, only certain people can do polls. If you've been a good boy, they'll let you make one.
Honestly, I have no idea. That's a good question. Have tried several times myself.
I REALLY like the way this board is set up, so I'm certainly not complaining.

Right now, just the system admins can start the polls. We will probably turn this option on for everyone in the future. We just have a fear of numerous polls being unleashed at the same time diluding the content of the discussion. Any suggestions or comments you have on this subject are welcome.

storm likes the polls alot more than me. I personally think it can get really cumbersome and take away from the board.
But we here at stingtalk aim to please so if you all want the polls we will set it up so everyone can start them.

Yeah, I agree. I think it would get kind of ridiculous if there were like 50 polls up on the board, and that would take away from discussion. But, I think an occasional poll would be good. Maybe 1 or 2 a week. Perhaps we could just email you with a poll idea and you guys could make the poll if you like it. That would be fine with me.
