How many more ACC teams will be ranked?

Link

Right now Wake Forest is 24 and Virginia Tech is 21.

Kudos to Jim Grobe once again. The only time I ever remember Wake being ranked in the preseason was back in '97 or '98. They were ranked #25 for some reason then went out and got hammered 42-0 by Air Force.

Emphasis on should. The names Florida State and Miami still have a lot of pull.

I hope F$U's offseason problem:quality of team ratio isn't trending similar to the ratio of the mid 90s. We could all be in trouble.

I think Miami will have to prove themselves to get back in - they have more problems scoring than GTKyle.

Considering they were scoring at least 4 times a week, I'll consider that a compliment.

UM had 247 PF this season.

Thats 20.58 per game. We will round up to 21. Thats 3 scores per week. I'm only counting TDs cause FGs are like making out. It's cool and all, but it's not the real thing.

So yea....3 times per week. That's not too bad my friend.

Miami will be better. Not top 25 better

The greatness that is Patrick Nix cannot be held down for long. Miami will be better and will be top 20 by the end of the year. Look for Five ACC teams to be in the top 25 by December.....drum roll, please:
VPI, Miami, FSU, Boston College, Clempsen. None in the top ten except maybe, maybe Clempsen. Remember, 9-3, and even 8-4 is top twenty-five territory these days.
