How many fumbles vs MSU? 1

I think we cut back a huge amount of turnovers because of CPJ's emphasis on ball security in this weeks practice.

Nesbitt or Dwyer more rushing yards?

I'm going Dwyer on this one by just a little bit, if healthy, JD also will have a chip on his shoulder after a bad week.

How many Interceptions (Thrown and Taken)?

Thrown = 0 Nesbitts last week was him just trying to make a play and i think he will understand not to try that kinda of throw.

Taken = At least 1, the Carroll kid will at least throw one under pressure and if the game gets a lil out of hand it could snowball and he throw more.

More "How many?" are welcome blog away

I think we will win every game we play this year in which we turn the ball over 2 times or less.

I think we win every game in which we receive a greater total of touchdowns, field goals, and safeties than the opponent.

What if we end up with 10 field goals, no safeties and no touchdowns, and our opponents end up with 9 touchdown, no field goals, and no safeties?

Badabing!

What kind of crap response is that? Not funny, nor intelligent, whichever it was supposed to be.

once again, you are WRONG

say MSU scores 4 FGs and 0 TD and 3 Safeties, they end up with a total of 18 points off their total of 7 "touchdowns, field goals, and safeties"

GT on the on the other hand, scores 3 TDs for 21 points.

therefore, GT wins the game even though we had a lesser "total of touchdowns, field goals, and safeties than the opponent."

of course this does not disprove your comment, only proves that the converse is possible; however, if you switch GT and MSU, then it disproves your "thinking"

devil in the details, learn it now it will serve you well, little kettle...

a typical Kyle response that was supposed to be a witty joke, but only ended up making him look silly

Kyle is going to claim that he meant a higher total of touchdowns, a higher total of field goals, and a higher total of safeties than the opponent, which actually probably is what he really meant, though he did not express it well. He is also probably going to call you stupid or retarded or some other flavor of negative adjective.

Also, I'll say two. One due to the system, and one due to Nesbitt's continued inability to hold on to the ball when he takes a hit. He easily could have had two or three lost fumbles last game. I think we win anyway though.

Mr. Know-it-all, not true! We score 14 TD's 1 FG, 1 safety, 0 extra points= 89 points
They score 13 TD's, 0 FG, 0 safeties, 13 extra points= 91 points

Stop derailing my derailment.

I think we will outscore our opponents in any game this year in which we turn the ball over 2 times or less.

What say you all?

I think this will be true for every game except for U[sic]GA. We won't be able to give U[sic]GA the ball twice and still beat them.

your restatement is still the same error, in fact it is an exactly logically equal restatement which has exactly the same error

he needed to say the total of POINTS from TDs, FGs and Safeties, not the total number of them.

and if he says we are stupid, then he needs to realize that it was his error, not ours. if he is going to correct spelling, and post "repost" every time, then he needs to make sure he isnt posting garbage -- oh, too late

wow that's a lot of kyle-talk.

Turnover margin matters more. As long as we turn the ball over about the same as the other team, we should win the game.

if we can have less than two turnovers in the opponents half of their 40, I think we can still win against most any team. Against someone like Duke, i think we could afford a bit worse; against a top team that is clicking, no way we can even afford two, 1 max

this game, i say we have 1 TO in their half of the field and one on our half. i also think we get 1 pick and 1 fumble recovery
