How Much Is Geoff Collins Paying Zach Gibson?

I just can’t stop laughing about that last play.
 
It’s insane. My brain is struggling to even process it. Are we sure this game was real? Was it all some Georgia State students performance art thesis? Is this proof that we live in a simulation? WHAT IS HAPPENING

When he ran OOB on the final play of the game, all I could do was tip my cap to him. A legendarily bad performance could not have ended any more perfectly. He is cemented in GT legend now, something we will talk and laugh about 20 years from now. "Remember when Gibson ran out of bounds on the final play of the game LOLOLOLOL???" I mean we still haven't forgotten Reggie Ball's legendary moment and this is worse than that play... LEGEND.

And it wasn't even like his foot stepped out just before releasing a pass or anything. Dude literally never made a serious attempt to throw the ball on the last play of the game.
 
So before we all start crapping on him, myself included, maybe we should step back and look at the bigger picture. Clearly the kid can play if you look at his Akron stats. Maybe our offensive design just makes good QB's bad and average QB's legendarily bad?

He’s much more athletically gifted than I am. He wasn’t set up to be successful by his coaching staff who put too much trust in Jeff Sims ability to stay on the field. Something he has never done consistently.

I hope he’s able to laugh about some of the things that happened in this game at some point. At the end of the day it is in fact just a game, dawg.

Can’t play in a P5 conference, even against one of the worst defenses in the conference.
 
I laughed when the announcer said "he has 10 straight incompletions".

In fairness to Gibson, Carter did drop the 4th down pass on the next to last drive
