Anyone see Jaybo Shaw and Jonathan Dwyer on TV after the last two games? They continued a tradition I have noticed for a long time with GT athletes;that is they are almost always well-groomed, well dressed(or at least clean t-shirts), and very well-spoken. certainly not like some of the ignorant, mumbling, dumbass jock types I see all too frequently from other schools. Makes me proud that we have young men like these two representing the I on camera as well as on the field!

The number one difference between us and UGAg thugs, i mean players. Also, the most tradition I am proud of.

Ditto that. I'm always proud to say those guys represent our school.

Either you're too young or I'm too old. What you're talking about is the TECH image. The TECH Man. Character. It's always been a staple at Tech. It's surprising that some of you younger kats are unaware of it. Query Coach Curry, if you dare, and see what he has to say about it.

I agree that it is nice that most of our players don't talk like thugs, but Jeff's point is well taken...we have our own fair share of players who have behaved poorly or gotten in trouble. As a whole, though, I think the players represent the Institute very well.
 
Eh, I'd say we have probably kept under the "fair share" mark. Honestly, most of the time when we hear about players having less than perfect integrity, it's through rumors or from people that know/claim to know insiders.

With most other schools, it's evident in every post-game conference.
