I've tailgated with my RV friends by AMC the last couple of GT games and we've enjoyed that. Close to Varsity, Cheetah, and BDS. We've got 25,000-30,000 coming down in 03 and I don't want to see UGA fans inconvenienced, forced to take MARTA, or park in some ratty spot. Any suggestions on where good parking for visiting fans and RVs will be ? I'd rather not pay for parking but will if its a good spot. Looking forward to seeing your redone stadium. Think its gonna be pretty cool in a retro/techno sort of way.If you've got any questions about parking in Athens this year I've got some suggestions. Thanks.

Go park at the Fulton County jail off Bankhead. Maybe you can visit a couple of ex-mutts while you're there. We really don't care how you're inconvenienced.

Make it too difficult for UGA fans to go to games at BDS and Dooley will say " Dave, the game goes from BDS to the Dome or Clemson gets your slot on the schedule." U Dig ?

You do realize . . . we sold out every home game last year, even the Citadel game.

Maybe we can replace you with some real SEC teams on the schedule, like Auburn or South Carolina. Even Tennessee. At least they tend to FINISH in the top 10-15.

Bull shellac ! Tech basically gave away tickets to the Citadel game to fill it and I saw lots of empty seats at the Maryland game for one. Now I hear about Tech giving away Al Ford bobble-head dolls, Marta passes, and some Costo deal to peddle tix. So don't give me that.

Don't ever forget that Tech needs UGA a lot more than we need you. And don't think that Clemson doesn't covet a permanent spot on the UGA schedule.

Again. Let me know if anybody has any questions about parking, dining, etc. in Athens. I consider myself an ambassador of sorts for the Classic City and Georgia football.

Whatever

There were no 'special deals' for the Citadel game last year. I don't know where you got your malarkey. The Vent maybe??? There were A LOT of open seats last year when I went to FSU, but the seats were sold. Just as our Maryland game seats were. It happens sometimes when the season is somewhat disappointing. UGA games have been known to be a social event in which many of the fans couldn't tell you the score by the 2nd quarter. I witnessed it firsthand 2 years ago.

Bottom line? Nanny-nanny boo boo. AMC is JACKET TERRITORY. Ride the train, homey, ride the train. Hee hee hee.

Personally, if I were a Ugag fan, I would rather play Clemson too - that's more of a guaranteed win.

Reserved Visitor Fan Parking is on the shoulder of the downtown connector where ever traffic stops. Simply give your keys to the valet and walk up the exit ramps toward the stadium. Someone will take care of your vehicle ... we promise.

This nut talking about Vince terminating the game is a joke. He doesn't know that the state legislature requires that our football teams play.
He needs some guide dog or a police escort. It is truly a blessing to have a mind and when you read such vapid statements it causes us to thank god we are not so handicapped.

These statements by Mutt lovers truly give credence to the "Dog days of Summer". Mad dogs do go out in the noon day sun, eh

Sorry puppy we don't give a dang about you, your fans, or your team. Best place for you to park is probably at home with your wife/cousin and get loaded on snuff and moonshine.

Oh and if there was any possible way to get UGA off the schedule it would probably help tech as you have killed our SOS the last few years!

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">Yeah, don't buy the tickets and stay at home and listen to Munson call it. And go ahead and let Vince try to wiggle out of playing us. The Dawg's will never live down the day they run away from the Jackets...

Yeah, run away from Jackets. Right. I'm just saying that like it or not college sporting events are a business. You mistreat the paying customers and they'll take their business elsewhere. We'll tolerate losing an occasional athletic event to Tech but we won't play an opponent that does not provide an enjoyable gameday experience for UGA fans. This is about entertainment. Tech could learn a few lessons from Arthur Blank. I want visitors to Athens to have a great experience other than the outcome of the game. Maybe I'm just too steeped in southern hospitality. So enjoy our beautiful stadium, campus, and city and may the best team win.

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">BDS@HGF will be (and has never been more than)
about 1/3 UGA fans for the 2003 game. We all
know this to be the truth.

You can forget about bringing you RVs to AMC next
season. Take MARTA. =]

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">I've spent enough time in Athens to know that its
nothing special at all. The UGA campus is nice
but the downtown area is little different from
any of a half dozen small sleepy Georgia towns,
except for all the townie, beatnik slackers that
are skipping class to drink coffee.

schedule unless you are proud of playing teams
like New Mexico State...

To the high and mighty dawg fan:

I'm glad to see you speak for UGA fans, players, alumni, administration, athletic association and the great Vince Dooley as well as yourself. I don't think most of athens has the same feeling you do and I'm also willing to bet we can take away all of your UGA RV parking/a lot to move your house on for a few hours and you're still gonna play us. I don't know where you get off thinking you hold so much power or authority but have fun riding the train in '03!!

GO JACKETS!!!
