That beat down yesterday was a great way to start the season. Choice is the man. The defense is as good as ever. If they can figure out how to punch it in from the red zone, there's no reason this team can't go at least 10-2 in the regular season.

In other news - congrats to George O'Leary, George Godsey, and Brent Key for a big win yesterday at NC State. (O'Leary haters please refrain from replying to this post). This was UCF's first victory ever over an ACC team. Nice work guys.

Agreed on all points except the fact that if we manage to figure out how to punch it in the endzone, then I don't see any games on our schedule we're going to lose.

Like I've said, I believe we will finish stretching out on offense against Samford Saturday in time to strap BC to TC's back for a train ride back up north.

A lot of good from yesterday

The lines on both sides were dominate and deserve a lot of the credit for the win. Choice was great as usual and is set to have a monster season.

The two spots that still concern me is that Taylor struggled with his accuracy and the secondary seemed vulnerable when tested (in particular Clark). I think the first issue will be addressed with some more playing time and the second can be masked by our pass rush.

Overall, it a great effort by the team and fantastic way to start the season.
